Eşref Akın, born in 1964 in Erzurum, graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences of Istanbul University in 1987.

After his military service, he started his career at Garanti Bank. He served in different departments of the bank and in various provinces for 25 years.
He retired from his position in March 2016 after working at Garanti Bank as Istanbul Europe 6 Regional Loans Manager.

He has been working as CFO in BPlas and Gökçen Group companies since April 2016.
